Get Set Go !!

Hi,
I have been planning to apply to US B school for quite some time now. But opportunities at work seemed to be getting better and better every year and had been holding me off. But now it seems like now or never to me. Also, at work front it seems I am at the top of the trajectory and can go only down or stay there.
So, to start with I rubbed the dust of my Princeton review and am going through their lessons/tips. I have a marriage to attend next week, so I plan to finish lessons before that and start with test the week after.
Right now i would prefer to write my GMAT latest by mid July, so that I can wrap up TOEFL end of July and concentrate on applications August onwards.

I have zeroed in on 4 schools for now.

LBS
While the first three share a great placement record in consulting and a general management focus in core, LBS is my favourite for the Multi-nation/Multi-cultural students it accepts due to its location. Also, I think most of the consulting, read M&A, opportunities of the next decade will lie in Europe, so it might help to get a job there.
But then the firms which will pick up these opportunities are mot likely to be McKinsey, BCG, Bain & co, Booz Allen Hamilton etc. That's why there are more US Bschools in my list.
Also, I have spend considerable time in both locations (US 8 months and UK 6 months) and I found US to me more compelling on a personal and work front. People there were quite warm and welcoming in nature and fun to work with.
I shall keep you posted on the progress of my journey although i am not a gr8 blogger (This being my first blog entry).
